A vintage Musical Pluto toy by Marx Toys from the 1960s. The tin mechanism features several lithographed Disney characters, including Snow White, Doc, Sleepy, Grumpy, Bashful, Happy, Sneezy, Dopey, the White Rabbit, Donald Duck’s nephew, Li’l Bad Wolf, Jiminy Cricket, Chip, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey Mouse, and Pluto. A tin figure of Pluto with a tail that acts as a drum beater circles around the mechanism, with the tail hitting xylophone keys as it goes. The toy measures 8.25”x8.25” and 2.75” tall and is in very good condition, with minor wear from age throughout. The toy is operation with some stalling and deceleration in the mechanism due to the placement of the center platform.
