A multi-layer production cel and studio Xerox from the Nickelodeon Studios animated series “The Ren & Stimpy Show” (1992-1996). Featuring Stimpy in a black cat onesie costume, standing in front of a bed on fire, the hand-painted cel and xerox were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled “Superstitious Stimpy,” which aired on April 1, 1995. Measuring 11.75”x16.5” overall, with a character image size of 6.75”x10.75”, the cel and xerox are in very good condition with light scratches, and minimal paint and line fade to the cel, and handling-related edge and corner wear, with tearing along the right edge, and a heavy vertical crease to the center of the xerox.
