A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c.1940s/1950s). Featuring standard designs for Donald Duck’s expressions, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Model sheets with standards were used by animators for multiple productions during the time period. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 9.75”x13”, the model sheet is in very good condition with minor discoloration, edge wear, staple holes, and slight rippling.
